A Fun-loving and Kind Ottawa Hills Family is Looking for a Part-Time Nanny!
Children: 1 Child; an adorable 6 year old!
Salary: $25-$30 per hour based on duties and experience.
Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, Monday – Friday 2:30p-5:30p during the school year with additional hours in the summer.
Location: Ottawa Hills, OH
Start Date: ASAP
This warm and open-minded family is seeking a part-time nanny for their curious and spirited 6-year-old. This family is passionate about travel, learning, and spending quality time together. Music is a huge part of their daily lives; while they may not play any instruments, their home regularly has music playing in the background. Their daughter is bright, independent, and full of energy. She has a love for dancing, imaginative play, and exploring the world around her. They are looking for a nanny who will foster her curiosity while becoming an important part of their family.
The ideal nanny for this family is warm, dependable, and adaptable, with a great sense of humor and a calm, caring presence. They are looking for someone who will actively engage with their daughter and plan fun, enriching activities. This role requires a flexible schedule, with after-school care during the school year and additional hours in the summer. Both parents have demanding careers that occasionally require simultaneous travel, during which they would need the nanny to provide overnight care. Advance notice will be given for any overnight care. To support their nanny, the family provides a vehicle for any job-related transportation. Light household tasks are apart of this position to help keep things running smoothly!

Requirements
Nanny applicant must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent. A college degree in education, psychology, counseling, or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum 2 years professional experience within the nanny or childcare industry.
Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the United States
Valid drivers license, proof of insurance and clean driving record.
Minimum of 3 professional childcare references.
Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification is required for placement.
All nanny applicants must be willing to submit to a complete background check, driving record review, 10 panel drug test and social media review.
Up to date on all vaccinations including yearly flu and Covid-19 vaccinations.
