Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

College degree in education, psychology, counseling, or equivalent preferred.

Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the United States.

Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, proof of auto insurance and dependable, well-maintained transportation.

Minimum of 3 professional childcare references.

Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification required for placement.

Willingness to submit to a complete background check, including, multi-state/county criminal record review, driving record review and 10 panel drug screening.

Nanny Requirements
To be considered for professional nanny jobs with OHNFC’s families, we look for candidates who meet the following requirements.
OHNFC understands that a college degree is not necessary for someone to be a great caregiver.
If you do not currently have Pediatric CPR and First Aid certifications, OHNFC will assist by directing you to a local facility. It is the applicant’s responsibility to schedule and pay for these certifications prior to starting a position.
