About the Role
A Welcoming, Adventurous, and Active Upper Arlington family is seeking a part-time nanny for after-school care!
Children: 3 children; care is mostly for the 2 oldest
Salary: $22 per hour based on duties and experience
Full Time/Part Time: Part Time – Monday through Friday, 2:30p – 5:30p, 15 hours guaranteed
Location: Upper Arlington, OH
Start Date: ASAP
This family of five is excited to continue exploring their new community after relocating to Upper Arlington just a year ago. They enjoy going on adventures together, whether that means visiting a new restaurant in German Village, exploring one of the many metroparks nearby, or walking to one of the two local libraries. They are an active, outdoorsy family, and their children are beginning to become more involved in after-school sports and activities. Their oldest enjoys sports and games, thrives on routine, and loves football, baseball, and all things OSU. Their middle child is athletic, studious, and thrives in social settings, always eager to lend a helping hand. Their youngest is cheerful and expressive, with a love for crafts, dancing, and dolls. This family values consistency, kindness, and positivity, and is eager to welcome someone who can become part of their village.
The ideal nanny for this role will be dependable, caring, and respectful while supporting the children’s daily transitions from school to evening activities. Responsibilities will include school pickup, guiding the children as they unpack their bags, preparing healthy snacks, and encouraging active play both inside and outdoors. The nanny may also accompany the children to local spots such as nearby parks or libraries, assist with light meal preparation as needed, and ensure the children are ready for after-school activities. A positive attitude, firm yet kind boundaries, and a genuine enjoyment of working with school-aged children will make for a great fit. This is an excellent opportunity for a nanny who enjoys being active, fostering independence, and helping children thrive while being an integral part of a warm and energetic family.

Requirements
Nanny applicant must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent. A college degree in education, psychology, counseling, or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum 2 years professional experience within the nanny or childcare industry.
Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the United States
Valid drivers license, proof of insurance and clean driving record.
Minimum of 3 professional childcare references.
Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification is required for placement.
All nanny applicants must be willing to submit to a complete background check, driving record review, 10 panel drug test and social media review.
Up to date on all vaccinations including yearly flu and Covid-19 vaccinations (based on family preference).
