A Creative, Active, and Nurturing Delaware, OH Family is Seeking a Part-Time Nanny!

$24 per hour, based on experience and duties
Full Time/Part Time:
Part-Time – 18 hours guaranteed. Flexible on days; but 3 days per week 9a-3p/4p would be ideal.

This creative, active, and nurturing family values an engaging and lively home environment. Music fills their household, with daily guitar sessions, dancing, and sing-alongs that delight their curious toddlers. They love spending time outdoors; daily walks, playground trips, and backyard play are central to their routine. Indoors, they enjoy building forts, climbing on play cushions, and imaginative play in the playroom. The parents are passionate about cooking, baking, and creative home projects and they encourage learning through interactive activities like sensory bins, painter’s tape racetracks and water painting. The twins, energetic and curious, love blocks, puzzles, trucks, coloring, and exploring their surroundings. The family also includes a friendly cat named Storm. Together, they balance fun, learning, and structure while fostering a warm, active and stimulating environment for their boys.
The ideal nanny loves engaging with toddlers and views this role as more than just a job. Reliability, consistency, and attentiveness are essential, as the family relies on dependable support to keep daily routines running smoothly. Experience with early childhood development or a willingness to learn strategies from in-home speech therapy sessions is highly valued, as the twins are slightly behind in speech milestones. The nanny should be confident with toddlers aged 2–3, able to handle big emotions and tantrums with calmness and empathy. Playful, creative, and intentional about learning through play, the nanny will either bring their own activity ideas or support the family’s established projects. Safety is a top priority, whether indoors, outdoors, or during activities like library story time. This person will act as a trusted partner in raising the boys, bringing warmth, patience, energy, and genuine care to the home every day.

Requirements
Nanny applicant must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent. A college degree in education, psychology, counseling, or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum 2 years professional experience within the nanny or childcare industry.
Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the United States
Valid drivers license, proof of insurance and clean driving record.
Minimum of 3 professional childcare references.
Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification is required for placement.
All nanny applicants must be willing to submit to a complete background check, driving record review, 10 panel drug test and social media review.
Up to date on all vaccinations including yearly flu and Covid-19 vaccinations (based on family preference).
