A Warm, Well-Traveled, and Thoughtfully Grounded Columbus family is Seeking a Full-Time Nanny!
Children: One infant (11 months old) and a second baby due October 2026
Salary: $25+ per hour based on experience and duties
Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time; Monday–Friday, 10:00am–6:00pm. 40 hours guaranteed
Location: Columbus, OH
Start Date: ASAP
This Columbus family is excited to welcome a nanny who will become a trusted, steady presence as their family grows. They’ve built a full, vibrant life together; rooted in close relationships, an appreciation for the outdoors, and a love of exploring new places (often planning trips around time with friends and family). At home, they keep music playing, enjoy cooking when they can, and value time spent outside over screen time; think backyard time, walks, and active days. Their 11-month-old is curious, bright, and on the move, with a spirited personality and a strong drive to explore. With another baby expected in October 2026, they’re looking for a caregiver who will bring calm confidence, consistency, and joy to the day-to-day. They are eager to support their children’s development with intention and are looking forward to partnering closely with a nanny who aligns with that approach.
The ideal nanny is experienced, attentive, and genuinely invested in early childhood development. Someone who “listens” to a child’s cues and supports milestones with patience, creativity, and care. This family is seeking a proactive caregiver who can create engaging, age-appropriate days (lots of movement, outdoor time, conversation, books, music, and play) while maintaining safety for a highly curious infant. A strong fit will be comfortable guiding early toddler transitions, supporting sleep routines, helping with meals/snacks, encouraging language and independence, and thoughtfully childproofing as new skills emerge. The family would also love a nanny who can share insight from prior roles and collaborate on what works best, especially as they prepare to welcome their second baby and transition into caring for both children after maternity leave. Above all, they’re looking for a warm, steady partner who brings experience, good judgment, and a growth-minded approach to childcare.

Requirements
Nanny applicant must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent. A college degree in education, psychology, counseling, or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum 2 years professional experience within the nanny or childcare industry.
Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the United States
Valid drivers license, proof of insurance and clean driving record.
Minimum of 3 professional childcare references.
Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification is required for placement.
All nanny applicants must be willing to submit to a complete background check, driving record review, 10 panel drug test and social media review.
Up to date on all vaccinations including yearly flu and Covid-19 vaccinations (based on family preference).
