A Warm, Playful, and Family-Centered Columbus, OH Family is Seeking a Part-Time Nanny!
Children: Two children (3 years old and 6 months old)
Salary: $25–$28 per hour based on experience and duties
Full Time/Part Time: Part-Time; 20 hours guaranteed. May be able to add more hours (schedule may vary slightly week to week)
Location: Columbus, OH

This upbeat Columbus family is looking forward to welcoming a nanny who can bring calm support to a home full of laughter and “boy energy.” Their 3-year-old is affectionate, hilarious, and always on the move, especially when it involves Hot Wheels, cars, tracks, and anything with wheels (bonus points for construction trucks). Outdoor time is a favorite, whether it’s backyard play, a neighborhood walk, or getting in some practice for a new soccer season. Their 6-month-old is sweet, happy, and curious, thriving on interaction throughout the day; songs, books, toys, and plenty of engaging conversation. This family enjoys spending time together and prefers to do activities as a unit whenever possible, creating a warm, connected rhythm to their days. They also have a small friendly dog. They are excited to find a nanny who will feel like a steady, trusted part of their child-focused routine.
The family is seeking a nanny who is calm, patient, and safety-minded. Someone who can confidently care for both a busy preschooler and an engaging infant. The ideal candidate brings a positive presence, a good sense of humor, and the willingness to be a little silly when the moment calls for it, while still keeping structure and boundaries in place. This role is perfect for a caregiver who enjoys active play, imaginative games, and outdoor time with a 3-year-old, while also supporting the 6-month-old’s development through age-appropriate interaction like reading, singing, sensory play, and encouraging early feeding skills as solids are introduced. The family would love someone who communicates clearly, takes initiative, and can offer some flexibility as work schedules may shift slightly from week to week. Above all, they’re looking for a dependable, nurturing nanny who will build strong bonds with both children and help the days feel smooth, fun, and secure.

Requirements
Nanny applicant must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent. A college degree in education, psychology, counseling, or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum 2 years professional experience within the nanny or childcare industry.
Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the United States
Valid drivers license, proof of insurance and clean driving record.
Minimum of 3 professional childcare references.
Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification is required for placement.
All nanny applicants must be willing to submit to a complete background check, driving record review, 10 panel drug test and social media review.
Up to date on all vaccinations including yearly flu and Covid-19 vaccinations (based on family preference).
