A Warm, Adventurous, and Down-To-Earth Upper Arlington, OH Family is Seeking a Part-Time Nanny!
Children: One child (4 years old)
Salary: $25–$33 per hour based on experience and duties
Full Time/Part Time: Part-Time; 2:30pm–6:00pm, 20 hours guaranteed (with the ability to increase up to 30 hours)
Location: Upper Arlington, OH
Start Date: August 2026
This fun, easygoing Upper Arlington family is looking forward to welcoming a nanny who can become a steady, trusted presence in their child’s world. Their days are a great mix of activity and cozy time at home; exploring parks, biking around the neighborhood, building projects, working on puzzles, reading, and enjoying movie nights. On weekends, they love getting out to try new places to eat and explore, but they’re equally happy leaning into an occasional “lazy day” at home. They also enjoy cooking on Sundays to set the week up for success and keep evenings running smoothly. One parent works from home and travels often, while the other teaches and leads a research group. Their 4-year-old is imaginative and energetic, always creating new adventures and bringing a joyful, playful spirit to the home. Two friendly (and sometimes goofy) dogs round out the household, adding even more personality to the day.
The family is seeking a dependable, engaging nanny who can be another trusted adult in their child’s life. This role is primarily after-school care, and the ideal candidate will bring a calm, confident presence while keeping afternoons fun, structured, and developmentally supportive. A great fit will enjoy active play, imaginative games, outdoor time, and age-appropriate activities that help a preschooler build independence, emotional regulation, and confidence. The nanny should be comfortable helping on occasional random days off from school and flexible when schedules shift. This position is perfect for someone who communicates well, takes initiative, and can create a smooth after-school rhythm; snacks, play, light tidying related to the child, and helping the evening transition feel easy. Above all, the family is looking for someone kind, reliable, and genuinely excited to build a strong bond with their child over time.

Requirements
Nanny applicant must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent. A college degree in education, psychology, counseling, or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum 2 years professional experience within the nanny or childcare industry.
Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the United States
Valid drivers license, proof of insurance and clean driving record.
Minimum of 3 professional childcare references.
Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification is required for placement.
All nanny applicants must be willing to submit to a complete background check, driving record review, 10 panel drug test and social media review.
Up to date on all vaccinations including yearly flu and Covid-19 vaccinations (based on family preference).
