About the Role
A Thoughtful, Active, and Community-Minded Upper Arlington, OH Family is Seeking a Full-Time Nanny!
Children: Two children, 6.5 years old and 3.5 years old
Salary: $25–$27 per hour based on experience and duties
Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time; 32 hours guaranteed
Location: Upper Arlington, OH
Start Date: August 10th, 2026
This thoughtful Upper Arlington family is excited to welcome a nanny who can become a trusted and steady part of their children’s lives. Both parents are active, driven, and deeply involved in their community, while also prioritizing time together as a family. They enjoy live music, sports, tennis, outdoor time, playground visits, walks, and attending local favorites like Columbus Blue Jackets and Columbus Clippers games. Their home is busy, bright, and child-centered, with two growing children who bring plenty of personality, curiosity, and energy to each day. The older child is smart, outgoing, creative, and enjoys drawing, puzzles, reading, dolls, biking, swimming, and imaginative play. The younger child is sweet, sensitive, playful, and loves cars, trucks, trains, and a good snuggle. This family values kindness, structure, respect, and consistency, and they are looking forward to partnering with a nanny who can help support a warm, organized, and engaging daily rhythm.
The family is seeking a kind, reliable, and organized nanny who can serve as a positive role model and trusted leader for their children. This is their first experience working with a nanny, so they are hoping to find someone who communicates well, earns trust, and builds a genuine connection with the children. The ideal candidate will be confident supporting two different developmental stages, encouraging independence and learning for the older child, while helping the younger child continue building communication skills, emotional regulation, listening, potty independence, and daily self-care routines. The family values respectful guidance and would appreciate a nanny who can maintain clear expectations around using kind words, cleaning up, respecting personal space and treating the home and toys with care. A caregiver who is engaging, educationally minded, and comfortable taking initiative will thrive in this role. Light household support is appreciated, though the children’s care, growth, and well-being are the top priority.
